Christine-Maria Höller

Christine-Maria Höller began at the age of seven years playing the violin and has been already allowed the entrance into the University Mozarteum Salzburg with 10 years.

She studied with Prof. H. Zehetmair, Prof. L. Hagen and further training with Prof. I. Ozim and got her orchestra diploma and then concert diploma with highest honors. She has also visited many master classes with Shmuel Ashkenazy, Gilles Apap, Rony Rogoff, Michael Frischenschlager, Dimitri Sitkovetsky, Leonidas Kavakos, Stephan Picard.

For her outstanding performance she received the Honorary Prize of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture. Since 2002 she has been teaching at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and gives master classes in Austria, Germany and South America.

Salzburg / Grosses Festspielhaus (Whitsunday Festival), Bayreuth ( Bayreuth Festival of Young Artists), Konzerthaus Dortmund, Rudolfinum Prague, Prinzregententheater in Munich (Cellibidache Festival), Italy, Croatia, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Festival), Istanbul (Whitsunday Festival), Argentina (festival de Ushuaia) , Orvieto / Italy (classical Festival).

Performances as a soloist with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the RSO Prague, Dortmund Philharmonic, West German Sinfonia, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Junge Philharmonie Salzburg, Orchestra of Salzburg Cultural Association, Capella Istopolitana, Dvorak Symphony Orchestra Prague, Orquesta Sinfonica De Salta, Moscow Symphony Orchestra, Bochum Symphony Orchestra.
